H2O

Went swimming with friends in 精武. The number of lanes there was uncountable, and you can swim as long as you like. And the water cleanness is considered OK also. Yeah it was better than the one in Bandar Tun Razak, better than the one in sports complex in Taman Tasik Permaisuri, and definitely better than this one:

Yes you are right. The only swimming public swimming pool in the whole Kelantan at which you can swim for only 1 hour and only at Fridays. And you are swimming with at least 20 people.

Pasar malam in Cheras style

Honestly, I had never like to stroll in pasar malam. But since I went to that state, I actually look forward for the pasar malam nearby my house every Saturday.

Maybe the Kelantanese will refuse to go back to their hometown when they see this market. Ya lah, Connaught pasar malam is better lah. =p

I was so happy this evening!

Back to school

So today I went back to the primary school at which I spent my darkest 6 months and I wished I work as a promoter instead.

Nah, it was not that bad actually. Look, this was the greeting that I received when I visited my previous working desk.

Oh my, I was so relieved not using that desk anymore.

Anyway, kids are still kids, my heart lighten a lot after I chatted with them. 3 of the girls even lamented to me about their problems in friendship. Their seriousness made me laughed, but I was pleased to be able to listen to their thoughts and give some advice, really.

One of my favourite class. Not exactly brilliant, but very smart. Their sharp minds and tongues will give you either endless surprises or extreme madness.

Students from 6A class. You will shock when you immerse into their world.

Kids nowadays.

Barbie dolls? Toy soldiers? Nevermind.

Nostalgic journey

Few days after Tumpat trip, it was our first holiday! Worth a week! =)

Seen an interesting comparison before:
-To understand the value of a year's time, ask a repeating student.
-To understand the value of a month's time, ask a mother who gave birth prematurely.
-To understand the value of a week's time,

ASK THE STUDENTS IN USM KUBANG KERIAN!

Gai- Gai 2

Then we went to a muzeum in Kota Bharu featuring, erm, Malay traditional culture.

A traditional Malay room owned by some rich people.
Another traditional room full of creamy Malay smell.
Good old times. My aunt still keeps an iron like that in her house.
Porcelains.

It was a nice trip though. A small getaway from our dull notes.

Gai- Gai 1

So just before our first one- week holiday (convocation break), most of us go for the Tumpat trip, which is well- known for the Lying Buddha, Standing Buddha and Sitting Buddha.

In front of the Lying Buddha.

Standing Buddha.
Seen a lot of stray dogs, which are rarely seen in area around our campus.
You might have heard it many times, but I wish to sound it out again: Although Kelantan is under Islamic Opposition Party, but these statues still stand tall, and hawkers still sell food with pork in a certain place.

Free dinner

Yeah! Free is always nice. This dinner was in conjunction with closing ceremony of IIP (Intergrasi dan Interaksi Persatuan?) in which all/ most of the societies in campus tried to promote their society by setting up booths and exhibiting their stuffs.

Establishing a society should be quite a feat, since not many societies were found here.

I mean really little!

Snapped some photos after the dinner.

Dinner with big brothers & sisters

So today we had Selangor gathering, where all student, seniors or juniors from Selangor and KL will gather for dinner. Had dinner in a restaurant in Jalan Kebun Sultan, if not mistaken.

Typical beautiful and mind- boggling KL people. Wee wang wang~

My lair

Outer views of my hostel building.

I like this hostel except for a few things:

1) Small rooms (quartet somemore)
2) Lousy cafe (no, cannot say lousy, because it is closed down)
3) Full of cats, full of sh*t (I once saw a notice on a toilet room: 'Tolong tutup pintu supaya kucing tidak masuk :-)')
4) Feminished male wailings (midnight. sigh, pathetic creatures)

Oh man that meow-ing again...
